The Eagle has handed.
With West Coast's win tonight, the AFL Flag has narrowed to a 2 horse race - Adelaide and Fremantle.
I was born, bred and am currently breeding in the Indian Ocean port city of Fremantle. My grandfather first arrived here in 1942 on the P&O liner Alkaline. But the jarrah boards of the harbour pier burnt his feet. He hopped back on board and high-tailed it for Sydney, where the decks are cooler and the girls do hula. He and Grandmother have been talking about Freo ever since the fire went out.

You do realise SuperFreo, that by raising my interest in the 2006 plight of the Mighty Dockers has resulted in me looking at the AFL website, now I am interested, now the Dockers will lose, it happens every year I take interest, which is why I don't take an interest, the year I get through a season without hearing anything about the footy results will be the year the Dockers win the flag and disinterest will be my part in their victory.. damn satellite technology and damn the internet, please send a letter to Ghana in October 2007 with a picture of Peter Bell holding the Cup
Oh, I wouldn't worry too much, d.
I fear that despite the Dockers' fantastic resurgence, Peter Bell is destined to become the Alan Border of the AFL.
Possibly, Grump - but Matthew Pavlich could well become the AFL's Steve Waugh.
